Needing a simple, easy take-along project, I grabbed a couple of nice-looking patterns and came up with this “OneTwo Scarf”. So named because the ends are done in a reversible rib-like pattern of just one row, and the body of the scarf is done in a rib lace pattern of two rows.

Yarn was handspun that I did in January this year, and is from Southern Cross Fibre. It’s Australian merino top, colourway Midnight, 228m, 15 wpi. And it feels goooooood…
And here’s the pattern:
One-Two Scarf
Yarn: Worsted weight, 8ply
Needles: 5mm
Start: Cast on multiple of 4 stitches, plus 2. For mine, I cast on 38 stitches
One Row
Row 1: *K2, K1tbl, P1. Repeat from * to last 2 sts; K2. Continue till work measures 2”
Two Row
Row 1 (RS): K1, *yf, K2tog tbl; rep from * to last st, K1
Row 2: P1, *yrn, P2tog; rep from * to last st, P1
Continue till scarf is as long as you like. Repeat One Row for another 2”. Cast off and weave in ends.
