Once upon a time, I aspired to be good at my day job. Then I hit middle age. Now my job is there purely to finance my fibre addiction and provide unlimited internet access.
In recent times I have learned to spin (and love it to bits), discovered a renewed passion for knitting and crochet, and pretty much become a total fibre snob. For which I shall never apologise. So there.
If anyone would like to toss some vicuna, guanaco, qiviut, bison, yak or other such exotic fibre my way, do feel free. I’ll not only send you iconic New Zealand candy in payment, but be your best friend for life. Ooh. Scary thought, that…
